A CREATIVE ARTIST
Dancer, theatre person, Yoga teacher ...
Ruchi expresses the perfection through her body and from what she senses inside.
A little while back she joined team, and serves as a typical artist of SITA Cultural Centre.
For this reason SITA dedicates this article so that everyone can know her better!
Hard to start! Ruchi is such a multitalented artist, the attribute that suits her best could be "Lead Performer".
Ruchi is not one that attaches easily. Apart from Sita, where her presence is fairly regular, Ruchi teaches almost nowhere else. A month or two of maximum engagement helps her to maintain proper structure and commitment, short contracts that have always allowed her to be free ... and especially creative!
Born in India in the state of Kerala, Ruchi moved to Ooty for education and lived there until her 17-18 years. She then jumps on a business management degree and ends with a master's degree in human resources. Following this, she served two companies in which she worked as a human resources manager. But her business experiences have been swept away by her artistic experiences that took up more and more space in her life.
As a matter of fact, at the same time as she entered school, at the age of 3, Ruchi started dancing. She began her artistic training by dancing Bharatanatyam, the "sacred" classical dance of South India. She then decided to continue her discovery of classical dances with Kuchipudi and Mohini Attam , that allows her to build her knowledge of Indian classical dance.
The artistic curiosity of Ruchi does not stop there ... After moving to Bangalore she started learning modern dance. She then discovered freedom in movement. After joining the Nerutritia artistic company, she began to learn contemporary dance, an even more expressive dance that allows her to express deepest feelings through the body and mind. Then, finally she acquired a competence certificate validating her artistic skills of all those years of dance practice.
She involved herself in workshops and training in many cities including Kerala.
During those years of artistic training, Theatre and Yoga were two other arts that she also practiced very frequently and which complete her artistic career. Yoga is part of the dance.
"Dance and Yoga are two essential activities in my life ..." Ruchi
Yoga gained more and more space in her personal life until it becomes more professional 5 years ago. She began to teach Yoga and then became a professional teacher after completing one year training near Himalayas in Rishikesh. After that she decided to devote herself completely to Yoga.
All of her skills made Ruchi a complete teacher by mastering the techniques related to body and mind.
After 5 years of Freelance, Ruchi moved to Pondicherry for a year. Today, she shares her knowledge and skills by giving YOGA classes in our cultural center. Her students are delighted by her sweetness and serenity!
