Our teacher is from a traditional Tamil family. So, since an early age, she has observed women from her family drawing Kolam in front of their houses, as a sign of protection. Secrets of this ephemeral art are passed from mother to daughter since several generations.
Hema carries on this traditions and teaches you with joy the secrets and practice of this art.
Passionate also by drawing, she revisits the art of henna and updates this tradition normally kept for weddings.
During her free time, Hema creates origami. She is able to give life to paper and create decorative and useful objects.

Micro biologist by training, she decided after her studies to devote herself to her passions. This new occupation has also allowed her to become closer to her family and to express her creativity.
